How Team Sessions Work
We start with the style guide. Before anyone sits in front of the camera, we establish the look: background color or texture, lighting setup, framing style, formality level. This becomes your organization's headshot standard going forward.
Individuals are photographed, not rushed. This isn't a conveyor belt operation. Each team member gets a properly directed session: wardrobe guidance, posing direction, and enough frames to find the image that actually looks like them. The total time per person depends on team size and logistics, but we plan it so no one feels like they're being shuffled through.
New hires can be added without reshooting everyone. Once your style is established, future team members can be photographed individually in a shorter session that matches your existing collection exactly. Your About page stays current without scheduling company-wide disruptions every 18 months.
Location flexible. Team sessions can take place at my studio in Zebulon or on-site at your office. On-site sessions work well for larger teams; studio sessions give us the most consistent results.

How many people can you photograph in a single session?
Teams of 5–30 are typical for a single-day studio session. Larger teams can be handled across multiple days or in an on-site setup. During the consultation we'll plan the logistics so everyone gets adequate time and the day doesn't feel chaotic.
Does hair and makeup apply to team sessions?
For individual executive sessions, HMUA is standard. For larger team sessions, we discuss options during the consultation: some organizations opt for express touch-up services, others prefer each team member handles their own. We'll find the approach that works for your team size and budget.
How do we handle new hires after the initial session?
New hires book individual sessions using your established style spec. The background, lighting, and framing are replicated exactly so new images match your existing team photos. No disruption to the rest of the team.
Can you come to our office?
Yes. On-site sessions are available and often make more sense for larger teams. We bring portable studio lighting and set up a consistent background in your space. Travel fee applies outside the Wake Forest/Zebulon area.
